Transportation:
- For International travelers, the easiest way to get to Puerto Varas is to fly to Santiago Airport (city code SCL), the capital of the country. Then, take a connection to Puerto Montt “El Tepual airport” (city code PMC).
- There are 12 daily flights from Santiago (SCL) to Puerto Montt (PMC), including LATAM Airlines, Sky Airlines, and JETSMART Airlines.
- Tepual airport in Puerto Montt is 25 min away from Puerto Varas (21.2. km/13 miles).
- There is ground transportation (taxi, buses and Uber) available from Tepual airport in Puerto Montt to Puerto Varas city.
- Travel by bus (15 hours from Santiago to Puerto Varas) is available through at least 15 bus lines (www.recorrido.cl). One-way ticket cost around U$30-U$50.
- Taxi and bus rides are 22 to 45 min at specific schedules.
- The Travel Agency JCA Turismo will be offering two types of transportation (Shared and Private) from/to the El Tepual airport to Wyndham Pettra Hotel and/or downtown Puerto Varas.
