Sunday’s Mixer will take place at the venue Hotel Wyndham Pettra Foyer. Refreshments, Chilean wine and snacks will be provided for all registered attendees.
5K Run
Tuesday 5 August 2025, from 7:00 am to 8:30 am
The SIP 5K Run will take place at the Llanquihue´s Lake with a fantastic view of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. The route (highlighted in a green line in the map below) is 1,7 km and is thought to be repeated thrice for 5 Km. It includes flat and sloping areas of paved main track without motorized traffic, but probably some walkers, runners, or bicyclists. We hesitate to all runners to obey the rules of the road.
We will meet on August 5 at 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Santa Rosa St. and Turismo St. (See Map below).
The 5K race starts and ends at the intersection between Santa Rosa St. and Turismo St. Distance between the Wyndham Pettra Hotel and the intersection of Santa Rosa St. and Turismo St. is 14 min walk. The circuit is 1.7 K/lap; runners/walkers must complete 3 laps to complete the 5K race. At each lap runners/walkers must collect a flag indicating the completion of the lap. The full circuit is completed when each runner/Walker has collected 3 flags.
BBQ
Tuesday 5 August 2025, from 19:00 pm-23:00 pm
The traditional Tuesday post-excursion barbeque will be held at the “Pimienta & Canela” restaurant in Llanquihue, a small town 10 km (15 min) from Puerto Varas. Participants can savor traditional “asado Campestre” and another traditional Chilean cuisine. Meat, vegan, and vegetarian dishes will be available during the BBQ. Chilean wine, beer, and other local drinks will be included.
Note: We will consider the food selection made in the registration information.
BANQUET
Thursday, August 7, 19:00-24:00 h
Thursday’s banquet will be held at the venue Wyndham Pettra Hotel, (https://www.wyndhampettrapuertovaras.com/) in Puerto Varas. We invite you to share a delicious dinner, great conversation, a great DJ to dance after dinner, and, of course, a nice selection of wine and local beer.
